Following its initial release for smartphones, Google is now extending the AI Mode feature to Android tablets. This feature, available in the beta version 16.30 of the Google app, allows tablet users to leverage the Gemini-powered AI search tools already present on phones. The tablet version of the app previously lagged in functionality due to the larger display size. However, with the latest beta update, AI Mode can now be accessed directly from the home screen or the Discover tab, bringing tablets closer to Android phones in terms of AI capabilities.
