Government Push Encourages Institutions to Adopt Simple AI

In line with the Ministry of Science and Technology’s digital agenda, the government has emphasized the adoption of AI‑based communication tools across research bodies. Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh highlighted the importance of making scientific knowledge more digestible for citizens.

Simple AI fits this vision by providing a low‑cost, user‑friendly solution that converts dense research into short videos. The platform’s open‑access model allows institutions of all sizes to participate without heavy financial investment.

CSIR‑NISCPR has taken the lead by integrating Simple AI into its outreach programs. The institute’s director, Dr. Geeta Vani Rayasam, noted that the initiative aligns with national goals of transparency, inclusivity and innovation in science communication.

The Ministry expects that wider adoption will increase public trust in science, foster informed decision‑making, and inspire the next generation of researchers.
