The Election Commission recently released a draft of the voter list in Bihar, with the possibility of विधानसभा elections in November 2025. The Election Commission issued the draft after revising the voters for about a month, but the opposition party says the process was rushed. Many voters have reported incorrect information, and as a result, many people now want to check their names, photos, and other necessary details in the Voter List to ensure accuracy.
To check your name in the Voter List and other essential details, you must have certain information, such as the EPIC number written on your Voter ID Card. Apart from this number, you will also need to enter your name, date of birth, age, Assembly Constituency, and district information to verify your details. You can verify the details in three ways. Let’s take a look at each of the three methods.
There are three ways.
First, go to electoralsearch.eci.gov.in. As soon as the website opens, you will see three options to check your details in the voter list. The first is “Search by EPIC,” the second is “Search by Details,” and the third is “Search by Mobile.”
First Option
If you select the Search by EPIC option, you must first select the language, followed by the EPIC number and state. After filling in all these details, enter the captcha code and click on search.
Second Option
If you select the Search by Details option, you must first select the state and language. After that, you have to fill in your name, father’s/husband’s name, age, date of birth, gender, Assembly constituency, and district. After filling in all the necessary details, enter the captcha and search.
Third Option
If you select the Search by Mobile option, you will be asked to select the state, then the language, and then enter your mobile number. Here, you have to enter the number that is linked to the voter ID. After that, enter the captcha and click on Send OTP, an OTP will come to your number. Enter the OTP and search.
