In today’s world, call history is essential not only for checking call details but also for various important tasks. Whether for personal or professional reasons, we often need to retrieve call details for specific numbers from previous months. If you are a Jio or Airtel user and want to view your call history for the past 6 months, you can do it yourself. The good news is that you won’t have to spend any money; the process is free.
**For Jio Users:**
First, install the MyJio App on your phone. Log in using your Jio number and OTP. You’ll find the My Usage or Usage Details option on the app. Here, you can easily view details of calls, data, and SMS. By selecting the date, you can retrieve call records for the past 6 months.
To get the history via email, send an email to Jio’s customer care email ([email protected]) with your number, name, and time period (e.g., Jan to June 2025). The call details will be sent to your email within a short time.
**For Airtel Users:**
Open the Airtel Thanks App on your phone. After logging in with the OTP, go to Manage Account and click on Usage Details. Here, you can view details of calls, SMS, and data. You can download the history by day or month.
Alternatively, you can call Airtel customer care (121) and request your call history report to be sent to your email. You’ll need to confirm your email ID.
**Important Considerations:**
To view call history, the number must be linked to your Aadhaar/ID. Most companies only provide call history for up to 6 months. Call history includes the number, date, time, and call duration, but not the call recordings. It is illegal to retrieve the call history of someone else’s number.
