In today’s world, call history serves not only to view call details but is often essential for various purposes. Whether for personal or professional reasons, there are times when we need to retrieve the call details of a specific number from previous months. If you are a Jio or Airtel user and wish to view your call history for the past 6 months, you can do so yourself. The good news is that you don’t have to spend any money; the process is free.
**For Jio Users:**
First, install the MyJio App on your phone. Log in using your Jio number and OTP. On the app, you will find the My Usage or Usage Details option. Here, you can easily view details of calls, data, and SMS. By selecting dates, you can retrieve call records for the past 6 months.
To request your history via email, send an email to Jio’s customer care email ([email protected]), including your number, name, and the time period (e.g., January to June 2025). Call details will be sent to your email shortly.
**For Airtel Users:**
Open the Airtel Thanks App on your phone. After logging in with the OTP, go to Manage Account and click on Usage Details. Here you can view details of calls, SMS, and data. You can download the history by day or month.
Additionally, you can call Airtel customer care (121) to request your call history report via email. You will need to confirm your email ID.
**Important Considerations:**
To view your call history, the number must be linked to your Aadhaar/ID. Most companies only provide call history for up to 6 months. The call history will include the number, date, time, and call duration, but not the call recordings. Retrieving someone else’s call history is illegal.
