Tech Drive Pushes India Toward AI, Semiconductor and Quantum Goals

During the eleven‑year reflection of Digital India, the prime minister underscored India’s accelerating progress in advanced technologies. He highlighted the country’s ambition to become a leader in artificial intelligence, semiconductor design, and quantum computing, arguing that a strong digital foundation is a prerequisite for such breakthroughs.

The government’s policy framework now supports research labs, start‑ups and academic institutions working on next‑generation tech. Incentives for chip fabrication, AI‑driven public services and quantum research clusters have been rolled out to attract both domestic talent and foreign investment.

Modi emphasized that mastering these emerging domains will open new growth corridors, generate high‑skill jobs and reinforce India’s position on the global technology map.
