The Defence Cyber Agency has initiated a large-scale cybersecurity exercise, ‘Cyber Suraksha,’ to fortify India’s digital defenses. Commencing on June 16 and running until June 27, 2025, the exercise involves over 100 participants from defense and related agencies. It encompasses real-world-style cyber threat simulations, gamified drills, and leadership training. The initiative aims to sharpen the cyber capabilities of military personnel against modern threats, ensuring swift and effective responses to cyberattacks. The exercise, conducted under the guidance of Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff, also includes a CISOs Conclave for senior cybersecurity officers, featuring expert talks and a Table-Top Exercise to simulate cyber incidents.
