Anticipation for the upcoming Apple launches has fueled a series of leaks, providing insights into the specifications of the iPhone 17 lineup. Information from a Chinese Carrier Advertisement has revealed key details about the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The press conference is scheduled for September 9th.
The standard iPhone 17 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display and be powered by the Apple A19 chip, along with 8GB of RAM. It’s anticipated to have a 48-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The front-facing camera is tipped to be an upgraded 24-megapixel unit. A 3,600 mAh battery is also expected to power the device.
The iPhone 17 Air is rumored to be exceptionally thin at 5.5mm and weigh only 145 grams. It will purportedly feature a 6.6-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of approximately 2740 x 1280. The Air model will sport a single rear camera and the same 24-megapixel selfie camera as the iPhone 17. It will also run on the Apple A19 chip and include 8GB of RAM. The iPhone 17 Air is expected to incorporate a 2,800 mAh battery and utilize Apple’s custom C1 modem, a first since the iPhone 16e. Its dimensions are reported to be 163 x 77.6 x 5.5 mm.
The iPhone 17 Pro is rumored to feature a 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max will boast a 6.9-inch panel. Both Pro models are expected to have a new vapor chamber cooling system and be powered by the Apple A19 Pro processor with a 6-core GPU. Each will have 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The iPhone 17 Pro is rumored to have a 3,700 mAh battery and the iPhone 17 Pro Max to have a 5,000 mAh battery.
