With the launch of the iPhone 17 Series drawing near, information regarding the pricing of this flagship series has surfaced prior to its official unveiling. Anticipation is high as consumers eagerly await details about Apple’s upcoming series. Discussions have been circulating for some time suggesting that the new series might be priced higher than the iPhone 16 series, which was launched last year.
A recent report indicates that the iPhone 17 series could be priced similarly to the iPhone 16 series. However, one variant may see a slight price increase.
In India, the iPhone 17 is predicted to start at approximately ₹79,900, while the Pro Max could begin at ₹1,44,900. The iPhone 17 Air might be priced around ₹89,900 or slightly higher. The iPhone 17 Pro could see a price increase, potentially reaching ₹1,30,000.
According to JP Morgan’s latest research, the base iPhone 17 could start at $799 (approximately ₹70,412), the iPhone 17 Air (replacing the Plus model) could range from $899 (around ₹79,225) to $949 (approximately ₹83,631). The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to see a $100 (approximately ₹8,812) increase, potentially reaching $1099 (around ₹96,850). The iPhone 17 Pro Max could be priced at $1199 (approximately ₹106,553). The price increase for the iPhone 17 Pro might be due to storage upgrades, as the company could eliminate the 128GB base model, starting with 256GB storage. This change would require buyers to spend more upfront but would provide more storage by default.
The iPhone 17 Air, launching in the iPhone 17 series, is expected to draw the most attention. The upcoming model is rumored to be the thinnest iPhone yet, and its design could contribute to a slightly higher price. Some analysts suggest that the company may price it around the current Plus model to make it appealing to buyers.
