Mahindra & Mahindra reports 47% growth in heavy commercial vehicle sales

Mahindra & Mahindra announced that its truck and bus segment, covering vehicles above 3.5 tonnes, shipped 2,495 units in August 2026, a 47% increase over the same month last year. Executive Chairman SML Mahindra and President Vinod Sahay attributed the surge to higher infrastructure spending, rising freight demand and a wave of fleet replacements. The figures include both domestic sales and exports, reflecting a broad-based recovery in the heavy commercial market.
