Meta and Ray-Ban have revealed the next generation of their collaborative augmented reality wearable, following closely on the heels of the latest iPhone launch. The new Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses represent an evolution, integrating a full-color display into the lenses. These glasses utilize a novel approach, blending a digital interface with the real world to keep users informed while maintaining a connection to their surroundings. This launch accompanies the redesigned Meta Ray-Ban Gen 2 glasses, which are focused on the development of simpler AI glasses. The Meta Ray-Ban glasses are powered by Meta’s software platform and aim to expand the Meta ecosystem, diverging from the traditional smartphone-centric approach. The Ray-Ban Display is priced at $799.
