Microsoft has instructed its employees holding H1-B and H4 visas to return to the United States by September 21st. This directive follows a new visa order from U.S. President Donald Trump. Under Trump’s order, H1-B visa holders will be required to pay a fee of $100,000 (approximately 88 lakh rupees), effective September 21st. Previously, JP Morgan also requested its H1-B visa holders to remain in the U.S. and avoid international travel.
