Mojang is expanding the use of copper with the introduction of copper lanterns, torches, bars, tools, armour, and chains, enriching the gameplay experience. The release date for this exciting update is set for September 30, 2025. Snapshots and previews have already showcased some of the new features, though they remain in the beta phase. The Copper Age update will introduce a variety of copper materials catering to different playstyles, including explorers, combat specialists, and builders.
