Annual Comparisons Show Revenue and EBITDA Growth Despite Q1 Weakness

When measured against the same quarter a year earlier, Newsen Software posted an 11% rise in revenue, driven primarily by robust demand in the United States, Asia‑Pacific and EMEA regions. EBITDA improved 24% year‑on‑year, taking the margin to 15.7% from 14%. Profit after tax (PAT) also rose 26% YoY, with the PAT margin increasing from 15.5% to 17.6%. CEO Veerendra Jeet highlighted that SaaS and license subscription revenue surged 40% annually to ₹60 crore, underscoring the resilience of the recurring revenue stream. The company added ten new enterprise customers during the quarter, securing sizable contracts in banking, insurance and enterprise content management.
