Telecom Providers Fail to Deliver Reliable Service in Noida’s Border Areas

Noida, July 16 – As India accelerates its roadmap toward 6G dominance, on‑ground realities paint a different picture for workers stationed in Noida’s Sector‑3 and the adjoining fringe localities. Persistent mobile network outages and abrupt call drops have been reported across companies that depend on Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance Jio and other leading operators.

An employee of a private electronics enterprise recounted that the network disruption has become almost routine, leaving staff unable to make phone calls, post updates on social platforms, or send essential SMS alerts. The lack of connectivity is directly impacting day‑to‑day business functions, from procurement to client servicing.

Another staff member from a real‑estate software firm described prolonged periods—sometimes lasting several hours—when the mobile signal completely disappears. In such moments, contacting family, coordinating with teammates, or accessing cloud‑based tools becomes impossible, especially under the oppressive summer temperatures that make outdoor hunting for signal impractical.

The affected industrial sectors in Noida now face a critical challenge: maintaining continuous communication, which is a cornerstone for any modern enterprise. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has previously been approached with similar grievances from Delhi’s NDMC and LBD zones, prompting it to conduct drive tests to assess network quality. Workers in Noida are now urging TRAI to repeat those assessments promptly and hold telecom operators accountable for service lapses.
