Nothing is set to introduce its first over-ear headphones, the Headphone 1, on July 1. This launch coincides with the release of the Nothing Phone 3. Carl Pei, CEO of NOTE, confirmed these details during the SXSW London event on June 5, revealing that both products will be unveiled at a global event in London. This marks a significant step for Nothing as it expands beyond smartphones. The Headphone 1, developed in collaboration with British audio experts KEF, aims to deliver innovative and high-quality sound at a more accessible price point. The company intends to challenge the existing market by offering a product comparable to high-end options like the Apple AirPods Max and Sony WH-1000XM6 but at a more budget-friendly price. Rumors suggest the Headphone 1 might retail for around $299 in the U.S., positioning it as a more affordable alternative to premium headphones.
