Nothing is gearing up to launch its Headphone 1, marking its foray into over-ear headphones, on July 1. This launch will coincide with the release of the Nothing Phone 3. Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing, confirmed these details at the SXSW London event on June 5, indicating a global event in London for both product unveilings. This is a significant move for Nothing as it expands beyond smartphones. Developed in collaboration with British audio experts KEF, Headphone 1 aims to bring innovative, high-quality sound systems to consumers at a more accessible price point. The company aims to rival the audio quality of the Apple AirPods Max and Sony WH-1000XM6, but at a significantly lower price, potentially around $299 in the US.
