OnePlus has officially announced the upcoming OnePlus 15 at the Snapdragon Summit, generating significant anticipation. The company revealed that the OnePlus 15 will be the first phone equipped with Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The initial launch will be in the domestic market, followed by a global rollout, including India. Details regarding potential launch dates and leaked specifications are emerging.
While the company has not yet confirmed the India launch date, the phone is anticipated to debut in China in October 2025. The Indian launch is expected in January 2026, mirroring the January launch of the OnePlus 14.
Design leaks show a redesigned rear panel, with a rectangular camera island positioned in the upper right corner, replacing the signature circular camera module. This design could resemble the recently launched OnePlus 13s.

Leaked specifications suggest a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED flat display with curved edges and 1.15mm thin bezels. The display is expected to have a 165Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. The phone is likely to run on Android 16 with OxygenOS 16, with the promise of 5 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches.
