OnePlus has officially announced the upcoming OnePlus 15 at the Snapdragon Summit, revealing that it will be the first phone equipped with Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The company plans to launch the phone in its domestic market first, followed by global markets, including India. While the company has not yet disclosed the official launch date for India, it is speculated that the OnePlus 15 could debut in January 2026, similar to the January launch of the OnePlus 14. Leaked information suggests a redesigned rear panel featuring a rectangular camera island replacing the signature circular camera module. The device is anticipated to have a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED flat display with curved edges and slim bezels, supporting a 165Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. Other potential features include Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 with extended OS updates and security patches, along with a large 7,300mAh silicon-carbon battery supporting 50W wireless and 100W wired charging. The camera setup may include a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom.
