The successor to the OnePlus Open foldable smartphone, the OnePlus Open 2, is now anticipated to launch in the second half of 2025. This is a shift from the initial expectation of a Q1 2025 release. The first OnePlus Open debuted in October 2023. The delay might disappoint some prospective buyers. Rumors suggest the phone will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, a 2K+ resolution foldable screen, and a 50MP triple camera setup. Wireless charging and a thinner, lighter design are also expected.
