The highly anticipated OnePlus Open 2 foldable smartphone is now expected to launch in the second half of 2025, according to recent reports. This shift from the initially anticipated Q1 2025 launch may disappoint some, considering the original OnePlus Open debuted in October 2023. While the exact launch date remains unconfirmed by OnePlus, tipsters like Sanju Choudhary suggest a later release. The company has yet to release pricing details for the upcoming device. Rumored specifications point to a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC processor, a 2K+ resolution foldable screen, and a 50MP triple camera setup, potentially including a circular periscope telephoto lens. Other expected features include support for 3-stage wireless charging and a design incorporating a narrower frame with a thinner, lighter build, possibly using plain leather and glass materials. It’s important to note that these specifications are based on current rumors and are subject to change.
