The successor to the OnePlus Open foldable smartphone, the OnePlus Open 2, is now anticipated to launch in the second half of 2025. This revised timeline, based on reports from tipsters like Sanju Choudhary, indicates a delay from the initial Q1 2025 expectation. The original OnePlus Open was released in October 2023. While the company has not yet released the price details, the upcoming foldable is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, a 2K+ resolution foldable screen, a 50MP triple camera setup with a periscope telephoto lens, 3-stage wireless charging support, and a design featuring a narrower frame and a thinner, lighter build using plain leather and glass materials. However, the specific features are subject to change.
