The successor to the OnePlus Open, the OnePlus Open 2, is slated for release in the second half of 2025, according to recent reports. This indicates a delay from the initial expectation of a Q1 2025 launch. The original OnePlus Open was launched in October 2023. While the company has not released official price details, expectations for the foldable smartphone include the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, a 2K+ resolution foldable screen, a 50MP triple camera setup with a possible circular periscope telephoto lens, 3-stage wireless charging support, and a design featuring a narrower frame and a thinner, lighter build using leather and glass materials. It’s important to note that these specifications are based on rumors and have not been confirmed by OnePlus.
