Rajasthan houses over 100 universities and nearly 4,000 colleges, a talent pool the administration is leveraging through the iStart programme. More than 8,700 startups have been supported, attracting over ₹1,000 crore in investment and generating more than 48,000 direct jobs. To remove barriers for new ventures, the government eliminated mandatory prior experience and minimum turnover criteria in public procurement, making it easier for start‑ups to compete for government projects.
