Real‑time data platform boosts district officials' response in Andhra

During the eighth District Collector Conference, officials highlighted the role of the RTGS "AWARE" app and website in delivering real‑time information on weather, disease outbreaks and water resources. Although adoption is still limited, the Secretary urged every officer—from village level staff to district collectors—to use the platform consistently. Real‑time insights about rainfall, reservoir levels and groundwater enable field officers to plan interventions more efficiently, while departments such as GNCO, municipal administration and fire services are already leveraging heat‑maps and other analytics from AWARE.
