The Department of Telecommunications (DOT) is preparing to tighten regulations related to the quality of telecom services. The DOT has requested feedback from all telecom companies on this matter. As the reach of telecom services has expanded, so too have complaints, including those about slow internet and call drops.
To address these issues, the DOT intends to strengthen quality regulations. Quality parameters will be established based on each state’s needs, obligating telecom companies to adhere to the defined standards.
