The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G has made its debut in the UK market this month. The device boasts an Exynos 1330 chipset, a 6.7-inch 90Hz Super AMOLED display, and a 5,000mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging. Its camera setup includes a 50-megapixel dual rear camera and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone is expected to be released in India soon. The Galaxy A17 5G is priced at GBP 199 (approximately ₹23,500) for its single available variant.
It is priced at EUR 239 (around ₹24,000) in select European regions. Currently, the phone is available for purchase in the UK and other European markets through Samsung’s official website, available in Black, Blue, and Grey color options.
The dual-SIM Galaxy A17 5G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 1330 SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It runs Android 15-based One UI 7.
The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with autofocus and a 2-megapixel macro sensor, along with a 13-megapixel front-facing camera.
The device houses a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging and carries an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. It is also equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C. With competitors offering devices with 6000mAh batteries and 120Hz displays within the same price range, the A17 may face significant competition.
