Samsung's New Foldables Get 30‑Month Zero‑Interest Financing in India
In a bid to make high‑end foldable smartphones more reachable, Samsung India has unveiled a 30‑month zero‑interest EMI scheme that eliminates the need for an upfront payment. The offer is delivered via Samsung Finance+ and relies on financing partners DMI Finance, TVS Credit, IDFC First Bank and Poonawalla Fincorp.
The promotion applies to three devices: Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8. Samsung says the plan is intended to reduce the lump‑sum cost barrier and encourage wider adoption of its seventh‑generation foldable technology.
Key upgrades across the Z series include a sturdier hinge, enhanced display panels, a more resilient chassis and flagship‑grade processing power. The devices also ship with several AI‑driven tools that enhance productivity and user interaction.
Pricing under the EMI structure begins at ₹6,667 per month for the Z Fold8 Ultra – a reduction of about 9 % compared with the monthly cost of the previous Z Fold7. The Z Fold8 can be financed from ₹6,000 a month, while the Z Flip8 starts at ₹4,167 per month.
Samsung points out that the extended financing period offers greater flexibility, allowing customers to own premium hardware without a large cash outlay. The company also highlights that the scheme will let more users explore Galaxy AI features and the advanced folding experience.
The flagship Z Fold8 Ultra is priced at ₹1,99,999 and is sold in Violet Shadow, Graphite, Cream and a Green Shadow exclusive to online shoppers. The Z Fold8 carries a base price of ₹1,79,999 and comes in Lavender, Graphite, Cream and an online‑only Pistachio colour. The Z Flip8 is launched at ₹1,24,999, available in Pink, Graphite, Cream and a Mint variant restricted to online sales.
