Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Semicon India 2026 and outlined the next phase of India’s semiconductor drive, termed Semicon 2.0. The plan allocates an unprecedented budget of Rs 1.27 lakh crore to fortify every segment of the semiconductor value chain.
