Symphony’s EBITDA Surges 28% Despite Lower Net Profit

Symphony Limited, founded in 1988, continues to be a prominent player in the evaporative cooling market, operating in more than 60 countries. For the first quarter of FY27, the firm recorded an EBITDA of ₹46 crore, marking a 28 percent increase from ₹36 crore in the same quarter last year. The EBITDA margin rose to 12.2 percent, up from 10.3 percent, signalling improved cost discipline.

Although net profit slipped to ₹40 crore, down 5 percent year‑on‑year, the company’s top‑line grew 8 percent to ₹378 crore. Symphony’s light‑asset model—keeping R&D, design and branding in‑house while outsourcing production—has helped it deliver energy‑saving, eco‑friendly cooling solutions that resonate with a broad customer base.
