Top Indian cities see office space surge, Pune near 100 million sq ft

Among the eight leading markets, Pune is fast becoming a growth engine, approaching the 100‑million‑square‑foot threshold with 98.8 million square feet in use and a robust 10 percent annual increase. Chennai posted 88.9 million square feet, growing 6 percent, and Ahmedabad posted the strongest city‑level rise at 9 percent, reaching 27.5 million square feet. Kolkata’s office stock rose steadily to 24.4 million square feet, also a 6 percent gain.
