U.S. LPG dominates India’s imports as Gulf supplies shrink

New Delhi – The United States captured over 73 percent of India’s LPG imports in August, supplying roughly 620,000 tonnes, while traditional Gulf deliveries fell sharply. The shift reflects India’s strategy to reduce reliance on a single region amid rising maritime security concerns.
