Vivo has launched the T4 Pro, a new contender in the smartphone market. This device distinguishes itself with a triple rear camera setup, highlighted by a primary Sony IMX882 3X periscope telephoto camera. It is powered by a substantial 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery, supporting 90W fast charging. The phone is equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM, enhancing performance and productivity. It also incorporates AI-driven features. The Vivo T4 Pro boasts IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The base model, featuring 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, is priced at ₹27,999. Other variants, with 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB configurations, are priced at ₹29,999 and ₹31,999, respectively. The phone will be available in Blaze Gold and Nitro Blue starting August 29 via the Vivo India store, Flipkart, and select offline retailers. The device includes a 6.77-inch FHD+ quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits locally and 1,500 nits globally. It operates on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, running Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15. Vivo promises four years of OS upgrades and six years of security updates. It comes pre-loaded with Google Gemini, supporting Gemini Live and AI features such as AI Captions, Smart Call Assistant, Spam Call Protection, and imaging tools like AI Portrait, AI Erase 3.0, Magic Move, Image Expander, and Photo Enhance. The camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 OIS primary sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto (3x zoom), a 2MP bokeh sensor, and a 32MP front camera. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 16,470 sq. mm 10-layer VC cooling system, and connectivity options such as 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and USB Type-C.
