The Vivo V60 smartphone has been launched in the mid-range segment. This latest Vivo smartphone boasts features such as a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 6500mAh battery, a 50-megapixel front camera, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The company is offering four years of OS upgrades and six years of security updates for this phone. Additionally, it supports AI features like an AI smart call assistant, AI image expander, AI-powered block spam call tool, and AI captions. The phone will be available in four variants: 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB. The 128GB variant is priced at Rs 36,999, the 8/256GB variant at Rs 38,999, the 12/256GB variant at Rs 40,999, and the top-end 16/512GB variant at Rs 45,999. Pre-booking has begun, and sales will start on August 19th on the company’s site, select retail stores, Flipkart, and Amazon. Competitors include Realme 15 Pro 5G, Google Pixel 8a, OnePlus 13R 5G, iQOO Neo 10, and Honor 200 Pro 5G. The phone features a 6.77-inch 1.5K resolution quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 5000 nits peak brightness. It is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 octa-core processor based on a 4nm process. It has up to 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It runs on Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15. The phone has a triple rear camera setup, with a 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX766 sensor, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The front camera also has a 50-megapixel sensor. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording. A 6500mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support powers the phone.
