WhatsApp ‘Hi’ Unlocks 27 Rajasthan Services, Chief Minister Reveals

A landmark announcement at the summit introduced a new citizen‑centric channel: by sending the word “Hi” to the WhatsApp number 946106270, residents can instantly access a menu of twenty‑seven government services.

The offerings include payment of electricity and water bills, applications for various certificates, and a host of other utilities. Once connected, users receive a list of e‑Mitra services that can be completed entirely through WhatsApp, eliminating the need to travel to government offices.

According to Sharma, the initiative is designed to make public services more reachable and convenient, especially for those in remote areas with limited physical access to service centers.

State officials reported that the rollout will reduce foot traffic at e‑Mitra kiosks and traditional departmental offices, allowing staff to focus on more complex citizen issues.

The WhatsApp service is part of Rajasthan’s broader digital‑governance strategy, which aims to bring essential services to the fingertips of every resident.
