WhatsApp has introduced a new set of features across its app, encompassing chats, calls, and status updates. The update, which began rolling out on June 12, includes animated emojis, the ability to create animated stickers from videos, and enhancements to group creation. Users can now create groups without adding members immediately and share an invite link later. Media sharing has also been improved, allowing users to add a single caption to multiple images and videos. The Calls tab has been refreshed with filters and effects, while Channels and Status updates now offer more visual options, such as image-based poll options and group mentions in Status. The update is available on both Android and iOS and is gradually being rolled out globally.
