Xiaomi periodically releases a list of devices that will no longer receive software support from the company. This is known as the End-of-Life (EOL) list. This time, the list includes several popular smartphones from Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO.
Xiaomi is working on the HyperOS 3 update. The company is also preparing to remove older models from the support list and focus on its latest HyperOS 3 software update. The new update will be based on Android 16 and will initially be rolled out for new models like the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 14T Pro.
According to reports, Xiaomi has added the following devices to the EOL list: Xiaomi 11T, Xiaomi 11T Pro, Xiaomi 11 Lite LE, and Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE. Additionally, Redmi 11 Prime 4G, Redmi A1+, and Redmi A1 are included. The POCO M5 and POCO C50 are also on the EOL list.
The company will continue to provide security patch updates for these devices until September 2025. However, no new MIUI, HyperOS, or Android versions will be released for these models. Many users have not even received the HyperOS 2 update and are now completely out of software support.
