After a recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, security forces have taken extensive action in Anantnag district and detained about 175 suspects. According to the police, in the last four days, joint teams of Anantnag Police, Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and other agencies have launched a comprehensive siege and search operation in the district, targeting suspected bases and aid networks. Police said that under these campaigns, raids have been conducted at many places and a search is going on with severe vigilance day and night, which aims to end the network that aid in terrorist activities.
