Four Baloch fighters lost their lives in a fierce confrontation with a pro-government armed group in Balochistan’s Barkhan district on Friday. The incident, which took place in the Koh-e-Jandar area of Rakni tehsil, involved heavy weaponry and lasted for several hours. The deceased have been identified as Mustafa Noor, Samiullah, Rasaan Qadir, and Shahzaib. Their bodies were transported to a hospital in Rakni. The opposing group is alleged to be a state-backed militia. No official statement has been released by Pakistani authorities regarding the clash. Separately, heavy fighting was reported in the Spilinji area of Mastung district during a military operation. Troops entered the mountainous region, resulting in intense gunfire and explosions. Casualties were reported on both sides, but the exact number remains unknown. No Baloch armed group has claimed responsibility for the Spilinji clashes. These events highlight the ongoing conflict between nationalist groups and state forces in Balochistan.
