Bettel’s agenda includes Chennai IIT visit and deeper Indo‑Luxembourg ties

After the capital meeting, Bettel will travel to Chennai on Tuesday for a tour of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras campus. The visit aims to explore opportunities for academic exchange and joint research in emerging technologies. Minister Jaishankar, who previously invited Bettel to Luxembourg, highlighted the contribution of the Indian community to Luxembourg’s digital and financial sectors.

Bettel expressed his appreciation for India’s hospitality and reiterated his commitment to expanding partnership programs that benefit both economies.
