BRICS 2026 Agenda Focuses on Strength, Innovation, Cooperation, Sustainability

The 2026 BRICS summit, chaired by India for the fourth time since 2012, will convene eleven emerging and developing economies – Brazil, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, India, Iran, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and the UAE. Delegates will discuss a range of issues from trade and investment to climate action, guided by the overarching theme of building strength, innovation, cooperation and sustainability. Organisers expect intensive dialogue on leveraging the bloc’s combined 49.5% of the world’s population, 40% of global GDP and 26% of worldwide trade to shape a more balanced international economic order.
