The Prime Minister underscored the need for global governance reforms, including those within the UN Security Council, IMF, World Bank, and WTO. He also addressed the critical need for global action against terrorism, condemning the Pahalgam terror attack, and advocated for dialogue and diplomacy in resolving conflicts. Additionally, Modi proposed initiatives for the BRICS New Development Bank, a science and research repository, secure supply chains for critical minerals, and responsible AI development. The summit concluded with the adoption of the ‘Rio de Janeiro Declaration’.
