Chinese Tunnel Experts Arrive in Kathmandu for Search Operations

On August 30, four additional Chinese tunnel‑rescue experts joined the mission, arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport with specialized equipment for unstable terrain. Their expertise in underground navigation proved vital for reaching victims buried under the landslide debris. Together with Nepalese volunteers, they executed systematic grid searches that increased the chances of locating survivors.
