A fierce gun battle in Balochistan’s Barkhan district resulted in the deaths of four Baloch fighters on Friday. The confrontation, which lasted for several hours, took place in the Koh-e-Jandar area of Rakni tehsil. Reports indicate heavy weapons were used by both sides during the intense exchange of fire. The deceased have been identified as Mustafa Noor, Samiullah, Rasaan Qadir, and Shahzaib. Their bodies were later taken to a hospital in Rakni. Separately, heavy fighting was reported in the Spilinji area of Mastung district during a military operation by Pakistani forces. Intense gunfire and explosions were reported, suggesting a prolonged engagement. Casualties were reported on both sides, but the exact number remains unknown. Armed Baloch groups have a history of conflict in the region, and recent events highlight the ongoing volatility.
