Cooperation Between Taliban Government and UNHCR Aimed at Better Refugee Rehabilitation

The Taliban’s deputy spokesperson, Hamdullah Fitrat, reported that on Saturday a total of 1,002 individuals from 201 Afghan families arrived back in Afghanistan via border crossings in Tor Kham, Spin Boldak, Silk Bridge in Nimroz and Islam Qala. Of these, 571 people from 105 families entered through Tor Kham, 30 from 5 families through Spin Boldak, 353 from 81 families via Silk Bridge and 48 from 10 families at Islam Qala. The administration has already allocated land for 692 people from 121 families and provided aid packages and SIM cards to additional households.
