Delhi Talks Focus on Renewable Energy, Food Security, AI and UN Reform

The meeting between Foreign Minister Jayashankar and Deputy Secretary‑General Mohammed also tackled the urgency of scaling renewable energy projects, ensuring food security for vulnerable populations, and leveraging AI for development outcomes.

Both leaders reaffirmed India’s role as a catalyst for multilateral cooperation and discussed measures to strengthen peace‑building missions, climate resilience, and institutional reforms at the UN.

Earlier on Thursday, Secretary (West) S. B. George had a separate discussion with Mohammed, focusing on similar themes and reinforcing the momentum of India‑UN partnership.
