Delhi’s Foreign Minister Highlights Skilled Workforce as Strategic Asset

New Delhi – On his inaugural visit to Saudi Arabia, Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh emphasized that India’s skilled diaspora forms a strategic asset for both nations. Speaking from the Al Fanar camp, he noted that Indian technicians, engineers and contractors are integral to key infrastructure projects that power Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 agenda.

The minister later met Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al‑Jubair and Human‑Resources Minister Ahmed Al‑Rajhi, reviewing the excellent state of bilateral ties and outlining future cooperation in renewable energy, water conservation and joint research. Both sides agreed to expand scholarship schemes and vocational training to nurture a talent pipeline that supports the evolving economic partnership.
