Diaspora Voices Call for Indian Politics to Remain Within Country

During a gathering outside the Indian High Commission in London, several members of the Indian diaspora voiced a common sentiment: Indian political matters belong in India.

One attendee explained, “Those who can vote are the ones who live in the nation. If they dislike the government, they should express that through the ballot, not by staging protests abroad.”

The speaker also warned that external demonstrations risk painting a negative picture of India on the world stage. “Our responsibility is to protect India’s image, not undermine it with partisan slogans on foreign soil,” he added.

The crowd reaffirmed their support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, praising the stability of India’s democratic processes and the three electoral victories that have affirmed his leadership.
