External Affairs Minister Highlights India’s Readiness to Assist in Peace Initiative

The External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar, reiterated India’s openness to contribute to peace talks between Russia and Ukraine. In an interaction with the press, he cited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remark that “the age of endless war must give way to a path that ends war.” Jaishankar added that India is examining concrete proposals that could reduce hostilities and that Delhi will act as a conduit for any constructive ideas presented by either side.
