A fierce gun battle in Balochistan’s Barkhan district resulted in the deaths of four Baloch fighters. Separately, heavy fighting was reported in Mastung district’s Spilinji area during a Pakistani military operation. Large troop contingents entered the mountainous region, leading to intense gunfire and explosions. Casualties were reported on both sides, but the exact number remains unknown. No Baloch armed group has claimed responsibility for the Spilinji clashes. These events highlight the ongoing conflict in Balochistan between nationalist groups and state forces.
